THE VINTAGE:
The 2019 vintage in Coombsville delivered near-perfect conditions: mild weather with no heat spells, optimal soil moisture, and a cool growing season that extended hang time and deepened complexity. Yields were slightly down from 2018, concentrating the fruit and elevating skin-to-juice ratios. The result is one of the most powerful, structured wines from this AVA in recent memory.
Coombsville sits at the southeastern edge of Napa Valley — cooler, foggier, and consistently underrated compared to its neighbor appellations. For wine club members, it represents an opportunity to discover Napa at its most nuanced.
